Ain't that the truth.

And sometimes, even when they are, they don't think too critically about them.

"I'm going to lower prices!"
Sounds great!

"By imposing massive tariffs on everything!"
Sure, whatever you gotta do!

I've seen a bunch of those signs in one particular area around here. But what I see everywhere else, surrounded by farm fields, are wind and solar farms popping up. With the approval of rural county/town boards. The majority of voters in those towns picked Republicans in 2024.

Correct. Because they believe Republican messaging. But they don't as much about solar/wind- so shaming them about it would be counterproductive. Shame the people that they voted for, and the voters may think a bit more critically about whether their reps are actually representative of their views.

If you are going to call out Republicans, make sure that it is explicitly politicians. Far more Republican voters are on board with solar than their representatives are.

I assume that you would also be aiming to keep that near the end of the video, after the message has sunken in...

I can confirm that I have seen higher than the rated output of my panels only when the temperature was below freezing. In winter. In the northern bit of the Midwest. They were at a pretty extreme angle, though- something like 60-70°.

I feel this. This is why I don't like to travel anywhere solo.

It is not difficult at all to alter digital information for elections with no trace. At least it certainly hasn't been traditionally. This has been reported on for literally decades in the U.S. Some central vote tabulators just store totals in an Access DB with no audit trail, easily editable.

Reading the alt text, my first thought was "you monster".

A majority of WI voters are finally sick enough of the gerrymandered legislature stonewalling action on anything that isn't a corporate handout to actually vote. Trying to sneak these in was a massive overreach. Opposition groups sent out flyers to get out the vote. There's more, but character limit
