What on earth? They even named this? This doesn't make sense to me at all. Hell I was scared to have sex because of hiv and aids. Now we have people wanting to catch it on purpose? Why? Survival of the fittest at it's finest I guess. These people need therapy bad.

For most events, the promoter/artists get the door sales, and the venue keeps all the bar sales.

DO NOT whine about paying an entry fee; it directly supports the artists and performers you are enjoying.
