Albany, 1984- Red Room- NYS Capitol; Gov. Mario Cuomo. The story goes M said he never had a hobby horse as kid. So one of Capitol carpenters built him adult-sized horse in his spare time.

BTD 1782 Martin Van Buren, 8th Pres., in Kinderhook NY. His 1st language was Dutch,which meant he fit in when he came to Albany in early 1800s, where Dutch was still used quite frequently.
