I’ve not managed to paint much recently but have gotten back into playing games. Not sure how many BG3 fans follow me but I’ve finally started a Dark Urge run of Baldur’s Gate 3 with my Gnome Bard Maybelle. Though you may like to see my tiny menace to society.

Yeah I prefer the older black lid pots as they are easier to open and close & don’t get gunked up like the new ones. I had loads of them but a lot dried out in the 15 years I didn’t paint for. The previous generation fared a lot better but the caps are much harder to open and close 😬
The remaining previous generation paints that survived 15 years in storage. Black Lid Pots: Dwarf Bronze, Goblin Green, Liche Purple, Bestial Brown, Scorched Brown, Codex Grey & Leviathan Purple Wash. 90s White Lid Pots: Flesh Wash, Enchanted Blue, Bronzed Flesh, Snakebite Leather.

However, saying that I did have this Codex before I even started collecting Warhammer. I don't know how I got it or why but I used to read the weird lore and unit stats and couldn't wait until I could start collecting Warhammer. Still remember a story about some marine being cooked my a multi-melta.

A lot of my stuff is kitbashed in one way or another but these are the most kitbashed models I have finished.
Space Marine Terminator Captain, 1999 pewter model with new power fist, iron halo and green stuff sculpted hair as well as base adorned with vehicle dozer blade, Tyranid arm, helmet and various bits and green stuff. Space Marine Captain, 2003 pewter Emperor’s Champion with Chaos Marine Plasma Pistol, krak grenade, decorations and backpack from plastic Captain model kit. Space Marine Techmarine, 1995 pewter Techmarine with Primaris Techmarine Grav pistol and Forge Bolter attached to backpack using vehicle bits and some paper clip wire. Scout Marine from Mini of the Month last year with an old Space Marine head, Primaris helmet, grenades and Melta Bomb painted up like Wrecker from the Bad Batch.

Nice Chaplain! I have finally finished the 3D Pikachu Pokémon Card for my sister’s birthday, not completely happy with it but I know she will like it. Don’t think I’ll be painting this much yellow again though 😅

This week I have started working on the classic Hero Quest Heroes, just rebased them (and resculpted a few feet) and now I need to repaint them.
WIP picture of the four classic Hero Quest Heroes, The Barbarian, The Dwarf, The Elf and The Wizard. All on new based waiting to be painted.
