Here's Trump's first tweet after sanctions are lifted:

He will lift sanctions, which will open a lot of excellent business opportunities (arms sales) and make America great again.

A weak and unstable US will never be a net positive for Canada and Europe. Sure, we'll try our best to make do without, but it's always the worse option.
