Wow..my mind went completely off track at “basement altars” until I clicked it was a euphemism. Much like my brain didn’t rule out weird cultish rituals it also didn’t rule out all possible hair.

I do not work for free, I can’t afford to like most. I also believe that money should not be an obstacle to being informed. Perhaps my adamant support of libraries is the loophole ( I won’t even get into how even being willing to pay to go beyond the paywall may not be worth it)

This is exactly where my mind went, because I’m from Buffalo..sadly my reflex thought was “I hope he doesn’t have any outstanding parking tickets”

Cuomo shouldn’t even be in the running, even if he’s running behind. Matching energy and behavior but being “ok” with it because he’s not “red” isn’t the answer.

Have to ask, what is a block list? I love the block option, and because I’m no one of consequence, have never had to use it on a personal post but have eliminated blatant asshats based on clear trolling/hate in other feeds. Decided today they weren’t even worth that much effort.

I’d joke and say it gives me hope that I too could be a rocket scientist..but realistically I, or anyone really, could do better just buy building something that doesn’t explode. Perhaps they need to go back to paper airplanes 101, not gonna make it to space but still ahead of this nonsense.

Its not so much the squeak that’s funny, it’s that that’s the only sound :) No jubilation, no celebration or sense of grandeur..the only better sound track would’ve been balloons deflating.

My immediate reaction to the news of the pope passing should not have involved that vile little man, but it did, complete with expletives.

Also received survivors benefits ( that’s actually how we found out my biological dad had passed). When depression nearly “won” when I was a teen it’s what helped pay for what the insurance didn’t cover. Those who don’t get it should consider themselves lucky, not attack blindly.

Adding to the stigma already attached to mental health by providing either cover or blame for horrible behavior needs to stop. Hate is not an illness, nor is bigotry or violence.
