Rethinking Self-Determination conference organized by UNPO in Madeira (Funchal) was a meaningful and memorable experience. It was a great joy to reunite with old friends from around the world, with whom we’ve shared years of struggle for self-determination under the UNPO umbrella.
The Thai government stated that China had requested the return of 45 Uyghur men, including five currently held in Thai prisons. The Uyghurs who remained in the country still require urgent attention and intervention.
