Some pics of today in Soldotna Alaska. La Niña is sending way too warm weather here this winter.

This little guy hung out with us while we were fishing in the Kenai River, Alaska.

We don’t often get to see the northern lights, so this was so amazing to us! This is from last year.

In winter, the eagles make camp at the local landfill on the Kenai Peninsula. I never get tired of watching them. My husband and I are so grateful for this life.

On New Year’s just after midnight, my husband checked for northern lights before we went to bed. The ball dropped and the Earth sang for us!

We are home now.

This is why I love Alaska. It’s so beautiful.

I live in Alaska where gardening has its challenges. I’m looking forward to learning new things here. We do best here with cool weather crops but I miss my Jersey tomatoes and run experiments every summer to find a way to get good tomatoes in zone 4a
