Conversation with my parakeet
He is molting and has been super emotional recently. It’s been a pretty dramatic back and forth between wanting to be held all hours of the day and wanting nothing to do with my hand. Thankfully I got snuggles instead of bites today!

I am sick and Rémy does not care at all. He is being so demanding about cuddles. Which is annoying despite also being very cute. I want to take a nap so bad but I must hold a parakeet while he takes a nap.

Rémy has lost a lot of big feathers this molt. He’s been *so* irritable and biting more than usual. Still wants to be close to me all the time, just less snuggly.
Until today! Seems like we have reached the turning point in the spring molt, and he’s been requesting more cuddles without biting.
