I mean, the original story Shakespeare based the play on had a happy ending (Leir regained the thrown, and Cordelia succeeded him when he died a few years later).

The closest I know of was in Young All-Stars #12, where the Young All-Stars visited Project M headquarters and were told about the Creature Commandos, who got a one-panel flashback cameo. Not an actual meeting, and only sort-of the All-Stars.

Those are the volcanoes Ascraeus Mons, Pavonis Mons, and Arsia Mons, right? And Olympus Mons would be off-screen to the left?

Angel chimes! My mother set them up every year when I was a kid.

But was the rice picker made of Corbomite?

I think the Founding Fathers (and other later people who modified how it all works) were trying to prevent any lengthy period with no President. The way it works now, you can quickly swear in the next person on the list.

Given that real-world animals vary greatly in egg-to-body ratio, you could probably make the egg pretty much any size you want to. I mean, among birds, kiwi eggs can weigh up to a quarter the weight of the mother, while ostrich eggs can weigh as little as 1% the mother's weight.

I grew up in NYC in the '70s. In the early '80s, I was watching old Doctor Who reruns (as well as newer episodes) on New Jersey Network. I miss UHF channels, you could always stumble on hidden gems. Unfortunately, very few Second Doctor episodes were known to have survived.

Agreed, completely made-up. Unlike the entirely naturally-occurring X-Men, who are harvested from a tropical rain forest in a secret undisclosed location, and a great source of vitamin X.

I did! And I recognized what was going on in both series, too! I've read that the fact that both teams were called "the Crusaders" was actually a coincidence, and not an intended part of this otherwise deliberate "stealth crossover".

I had two of these as a kid, and my brother had one other. I was really just getting into superhero comics at the time.

It turns out Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and House Democrats were right to call it the “Epstein Shutdown” for the last several weeks on social media and in interviews.

Speaking as someone who grew up in the '70s, yes, they were. I'll never forget the time Bigfoot and Evel Knieval got into a kung fu fight at the discotheque and threw pet rocks at each other.

Absolutely agree, except in cases where part of the function IS the human form. Sexbots are an obvious example, but there are others, such as children's toys.

Okay, I found the episode on Dailymotion and watched the beginning. Are you sure they aren't ALL readers of yours?

Makes me think of Avengers #200. Beautiful cover art, ruined by that ugly Toys'R'Us ad. (Just talking about the cover, not the regrettable story, of course.)

"A room that doesn't exist on any map." I suspect most rooms aren't on any map. Most maps don't show individual rooms.

I grew up in the '70s. This is basically how I see nearly all pseudoscience from the past few decades. I mean, if you're going to believe stuff that's completely contrary to all available evidence, it should it least be fun and imaginative, right?

I think most of us are trying not to think too much about NyanAstir, to avoid the inevitable earworm. However, a Bat-Like Thing flying past a moonbow- that would get you some notice.

Speaking for myself, I play RPGs in part to explore strange new worlds. The names are part of the evocation of the world, they help me feel as if my character is exploring a consistent, interesting world, rather than just interchangeable cardboard cutouts someone's thrown together.
