Great to see two (less than common) butterflies using the embankment at Tucking Mill. These grassland butterflies will appreciate the work carried out by Sustrans and Bath Two Tunnels volunteers early last month. @twotunnelsbath.bsky.social @savebutterflies.bsky.social @sustrans.bsky.social

Ok, not the most blue of #BlueBugs but it does have a blueish iridescent sheen in the right light. There is one short stretch of footpath near Tucking Mill, Bath where I regularly see this robust insect, a Bloody-nosed beetle, bumbling along in broad daylight. #BlueMonday
