London on a sunny, cold day on the river.

I was privileged to attend the first guided tour after covid of the City of London's Guildhall this last week. An amazing medieval building, dating back to 1440.

Beginning to make use of the skills I picked up (and tools I bought) last year. Still work in progress as the weather got the better of me. But this used to be a silver birch branch that I cut on the geoconservation day with the @ougeolsoc.bsky.social at Riddlesdown Quarry last autumn.

We found these 'stumble stones' in Rome. They're very similar to ones we saw in Berlin. A very poignant reminder of horrendous past events that we should ensure are never repeated.
