High pressure will build over Texas through the remainder of the workweek. It slides west over the weekend and may open up an avenue for a slight increase in rain chances into the middle of next week. We'll see. For now, plenty of heat & humidity.

A few spotty showers will be possible on Saturday - not a washout. A weak front moving through Saturday morning also keeps things from getting too terribly hot/humid this weekend. More sun & a southeasterly breeze on Sunday will bring a few more degrees of warmth & humidity.

Watershed rainfall totals from this morning's rain. A lot of it fell apart as it entered Bee/Live Oak Counties, but a nice stripe of 2-3" in places like Uvalde and Hondo.

Rain totals from the last several days. The rain that fell in the watershed is promising and beneficial, but we likely won't see an appreciable rise in our levels. A lot of the rain the last few days fell in areas being hit by drought the most.

Showers and storms are in play overnight into the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday. Some of this could be strong to severe. Showers & storms move off-shore by around 9/10am. After that it'll be warm and humid under a blend of sun & clouds. Highs near 90°.
