In the 1912 presidential election, after being exposed for outright lying about a meeting with Harper’s Weekly publisher, Col. Harvey, Woodrow Wilson’s campaign called critical newspapers “enemies of the people.” Hmm. Read about it in this excellent critique of Wilson.

I’ve never driven near and under the vicinity of an erupting volcano before. 😳 This is Mount Kanlaon near Bago City in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Resultant ash fall was like a dust storm. See below thread. Hoping no deaths or injuries.
