It is horrible to hear that a woman was fatally shot by ICE today in Minneapolis. While I pray for the victim and her family, there must be a full investigation of this tragic situation. The lawlessness of beating, seizing and deporting hard-working immigrants without due process must be stopped.

The Trump Administration said it would focus on lowering costs and ending foreign wars. Now we have invaded Venezuela, removed its President and are occupying its oil fields for the foreseeable future. Trump and Rubio signaled Cuba may be next. What are we doing?!

On New Year’s Eve I am focused on the work ahead: making New York more affordable, delivering immigration reform and ending ICE’s brutality, and defending the Affordable Care Act while fighting for Medicare For All Who Want It. Happy New Year!

My Christmas Message

World AIDS Day calls us to remember, to support, and to act. For decades, HIV reshaped New York and New Yorkers reshaped the country’s response.

Today, we honor that history by pushing for free access to PrEP and by reaffirming New York’s commitment to leading the fight to end HIV once and for all.

I've spent my career helping to create jobs and tackle hunger and food insecurity. And I am ready to do the same in Congress, I will stand up to MAGA and defend Social Security, Medicare, and the rule of law. I'm Alan Pardee, running in #NY12.
