Like most other voter-cohorts, young ♂️s have swung to net disapproval of Trump. Why didn't anyone tell them before the election that 🍊 would hurt their lives and prospects?

Oh, wait. [Closes computer, bangs head.]

Got my measles re-vaccine yesterday. Zero side-effects, so far as I can tell. I did that because a recent article said that people vaccinated w/ dead-virus vaccine should re-up now, because the current vaccine uses live virus and is more effective.

The data show a widespread anti-incumbent trend in the most recent elections. Serious Q: what else besides the pandemic and inflation did these countries have in common?

Also, see this table from Paul Krugman re vibecession. (From Michigan Consumer Survey before and after election). Thoughts?

Ah, vibes.
@pkrugman.bsky.social: "The economy now isn’t significantly different from what it was just before the election; economic conditions were fairly stable in late 2019. Yet suddenly a plurality of respondents to the Michigan survey say that they’re better off than they were five years ago"

Herre's a table from Parl reproduced in the Financial Times on incumbents governments. First time since Parl has been keeping track (~120 years) that all the incumbent governments they track lost vote-share.
