Yes, decoupage would be my suggestion - a couple coats of Mod Podge and you should be good to go. I've done this with a nightstand & pages from "As You Like It" and it has held up for a good 15 years and counting & through several moves.

The more I think about it the more annoyed I get. Feels like they didn't make any strong choices - which I realize is a bizarre thing to say given the events of ep 2 - they just piled a bunch of plot points into a bucket until they hit the run time and then wrote "cut to black."
