Anyway all this is waffle to say that you're right, but the ALP should see it coming and correct course. Unfortunately I would think this happens in the latter third of this term, as pressure and organisation builds from teal/greens

Barring some internationally traumatic event (looking at you USA + Russia) i don't see the ALP continuing its grip, but i don't see that coming to the aid of the libs. This is good.

The response to the climate emergency will simply reallocate votes around the centre-left - left bloc that we have in place as of today. The greens can continue to seek more wins, and more teals will surface to challenge marginal metro seats.

I think it's naive to talk about 2028 & Trump - the situation in the USA right now is about as good as it is going to get, it will continue to dissolve. If the LNP lean into the Nationals platform, they simply will not create an environment that metropolitan Australia will vote for

I wouldn't be too sure. The teal independents syphoned votes from both sides, and continued to rise upwards. The new financial disclosure legislation should result in climate 200 building a formal policy platform and potentially a more formal party-like structure. I don't think Labor is that stupid

Personally, I don't think it's a huge own to be proud that the majority of Britons are irrational. If you cannot demonstrate the harm of these policies, you don't have grounding for them. We have grounding for our human rights positions, you don't have grounding for your bigotry.

I'll look towards my heroes that wear football jerseys to act on the field. What Kerstin Casparij did needs to happen over again, but in the face of judicial overreach, people within these organisations need to reject this discrimination and vote with their feet.

I think these organisations are totally apathetic to women and women's football. How the fuck is someone supposed to play, volunteer in or support a sport run by people who discriminate against you or the people you love.
