From what I heard, Nunez felt let down by ncfc because they didn’t deliver on promises they made so didn’t sign new contract and relationship soured from there. Not a fan of his behaviour at the Derby though. More of a concern for ncfc fans is why these players are so eager to leave..

With Chelsea sacking Maresca it will again start the usual ham fisted courting of other managers currently in jobs. With the inevitable turmoil this creates for these clubs is it time for the transfer window to also apply to managers?

It makes no sense, Rodgers was being paid about half what McKenna earns. Do Celtic have £10m to spend? £5m to buy him out and then match his wages? If he wanted to to leave, why would he turn down Brighton and Chelsea and then drop down to Scottish football?

I would suggest that #ITFC could argue that the 3 points should actually be awarded to Ipswich as Blackburn were unable to provide a playable pitch? Burnley and Bolton seemed to manage it?

I always understood it to be an Aussie invention, see also the stubby holder and pavlova. Of course New Zealanders will be far too polite to make it an international diplomatic issue.
