What I meant was more a decoupling of your account. You publish in English once, and with an automated translation pipeline, you get the same post published in other languages on other "sisters pages". DeepL is not optimal for this. I would do it with n8n and custom open source translation models.

Europe is home to countless languages and cultures (including regional ones) and on the networks we keep using English, which is the ultimate symbole of our collective carving to the US and British colonialism. With automated translation we could change that. Why don't we do it?

I might be wrong, but wasn't the concept of using penal colonies to populate Siberia a creation of tsarist Russia? Not saying that the soviets wouldn't dress it up like a genius socialist reform, but that they didn't invent the thing in the first place.

Memorising and performing algorithmic computation is necessary to develop other skills. Imagine learning any math without ever doing an exercise, just from proofs or lectures, it would be like learning a language without making the effort to ever try speaking it 🙃
