A meditation on legacy, exploring the shift of agency across time.
I intended this piece to be a study in grace, and transformation, and I have layered the oils to portrait subtle contrasts between the old and the new.

Courbet, as with many creatives, struggled for recognition. Rejection comes in many forms, but for artists it can feel personal.
