IMO, the first unit has plenty of scoring w/o the 5th option (Rui for now, as shown tonight). Start Jarred, have Rui come off the bench and boost the way below scoring from the bench unit. Start Smart if a Curry type is on the other team. Always have at least 1 of LBJ, AR or Luka on the floor.

Lakers should deploy the bench as situational. If they need defense or matchups, then Jarred, Marcus and Gabe should be prioritized.

Every time I see him play I get so pissed at Pelinka. He literally played in the Lakers backyard for 4 years, so was NBA ready immediately (as his rookie year showed) AND the Lakers needed a 3&D wing that year. Instead we got a "project" in JHS who "projected" to the Euro league.

Bogie looked semi-washed last year and worse this one. Beal is the only other potential bench wing creator and he has not yet shown that capability. They have too few bench shooters

LOVE the emphasis on analysis (both NBA and Prime) rather than drama. Prime crew for Lakers game is indeed prime. Candace is a star, Harlan is one of the best and DWade is excellent for a novice.

NBC seems to have placed an emphasis on actual analysis, rather than "entertainment" by SAS, Perkins, Barkley and Shaq. Refreshing
