Honestly I hate the 'best country in the world' line even if it's coming from a good place. Are we better than France, Finland or Portugal? Why should we care? It's not a competition. I can love many facets of my country without needing it to be the 'best'. Even if we are 🤷♂️

I didn't know that - that's lovely to hear. I understand why people might feel he is under-rated though. I'd have him up there with Kirby and Kubert for DC/Marvel artists from the 60s-80s, but I'm not sure he gets quite that level of aclaim.
