I was part of the CAA EV Winter Drive Test. This hasn’t been stated clearly enough:

This was not a straight shot drive from Ottawa to Mont Tremblant, Quebec. It was an altered, much longer route.

Degradation aside, most of the EVs managed to travel 300-400 kms in harsh winter conditions.

The elephant's in the room — Tariffs, a federal election, and incentives — were discussed.

Consensus: while the EV industry may experience some slowdown in the short term, they aren’t going anywhere.
