I think reporting has changed since the 2020 conflicts based on the release of new technology upgrades such as AI. I do think it has made a good impact because platforms such as Chat-GPT encourage journalists to attempt to establish more credibility and build trust with their audiences. #UWJ201 #301

I think we don't see these 4 methods put to use because many companies don't know how to build trust with their audiences. Journalists often display their information without evidence or defining a way to have the audience trust them, so if they used these methods it would be helpful. #UWJ201 #301

I think the use of misinformation can impact someone because if one person sees something and believes it, this could lead to many other people also seeing it and believing the same thing. This can make the public confused on what information is actually correct. #UWJ201 #301

I don’t think it depends on political ideologies to be susceptible to fact checking; I think it is the persons mindset and if they are willing to take the further step to make sure the information they are seeing is correct. #UWJ201 #301

I also thought this reading was interesting, I found it intriguing that instead of media covering the Biden campaign, they were the Biden campaign. I notice that media is searching for the next big thing to write about because it’s what gives them their jobs and something to write on. #UWJ201 #301

It’s impossible for journalists to write in a non biased way because most of them have a specific POV, and it is hard to avoid that while they write. I think it should be a combination of journalists trying to neutralize what they write as much as they can and us working on judgement. #UWJ201 #301

I agree with your view on this reading. I think it is important to recognize our values and live life positively because we never know when it’s going to end. I agree with what Aristotle says about character virtues creating the highest good. #UWJ201 #301

I am in the middle for this question. I think that since these platforms are from the same company, there could potentially be unnoticed bias. However, since these are different platforms there is still a possibility of different information on each one, even if the company is the same. #UWJ201 #301

It is important to teach people at a young age, depending on when a child gets technology, about cybersecurity. As soon as someone is exposed to the media there are many risks that they should be aware of. I have experienced scams and if I knew more about them, I could have avoided it. #UWJ201 #301

I think the reason for this is that people who have a higher education likely tend to be more educated about the media in general and more aware of the digital world. People with less education tend to know less about the media, likely by choice. #UWJ201 #301

I think that law enforcement in this case may be the most efficient way to gather data since they are the ones observing. However, this does mean there could be potential bias. It is important to have a combination of sources to understand what’s really happening. #UWJ201 #301

I didn’t really notice that the media did this until we talked about it in class, but now I do realize that it tends to cover the more violent parts. I think this is a role in framing and can also play into the mean world syndrome by making everything seem negative. #UWJ201 #301
