The room is awash with the brilliant light of the LCD yet nothing more than that, and though Yone knows that Sett has likely fallen asleep by now he can see the peek of Aphelios' head around Sett's body, from where Sett is squished against the other side of K'Sante) while Kayn and Ezreal have been whisper arguing about the main love interest for nearly thirty minutes straight (Yone can hear them on his other side, from where Ezreal is pressed against him)... Yone still finds himself content. Movie nights aren't always this peaceful (Kayn and Sett love the most bone-chilling type of horror, while Aphelios seems to pick the most obscure thinkpiece movies imaginable that only he and Yone seem to consistently enjoy), so this has been a breath of fresh air. They'd started movie nights as a way to very concretely reserve evenings for group bonding, and after a failed attempt on Yone's part to institute a voting-based system for movie picks, they'd eventually settled on weekly rotations. It has, thus far, semi-successfully worked. If nothing else, though—the regularity of it has become comfortable. Their lives are so chaotic as is and the relationships between them all, even more so), and Yone knows that these nights have become a point of stability. Yone feels Ezreal laugh against his side, head pressed into Kayn's shoulder, and Yone looks right to see K'Sante discreetly grinning. Aphelios is still desperately trying to see around Sett's head, and Sett has started lightly snoring. Stability, Yone knows—and perhaps a whole lot
