While Japan leans more to the right politically, Japan is becoming more and more progressive in ideology like the west (LGBT acceptance, trans rights, abortion care etc) the Japanese are very respectful anyway to their peers- obviously not perfect.

Progressive values are not anti American lol.

Surely you don’t think politics from the 30’s is comparable to today’s? This country has progressed so much- political parties have evolved and changed. Progressiveness is more aligned with the left than right.

Who cares who authorized it? George was in fact affected by it, as were all Japanese Americans we were thrown in camps.
