They had 4 years to find him guilty on just one of the hundreds of ofences he's committed but they didn't dare. Now he knows he's above the law.

If Trump invades Greenland who's going to stop him? Would the rest of NATO go to war with the USA? I fear Nato would simply be paralysed.
