It’s that long ago now my memory’s fading, but I seem to remember one of the players they bought right at the end of the transfer window didn’t have a proper pre-season because he decided to go on strike for a few weeks. Liverpool bought him anyway in full knowledge of the facts.

Probably about time he stopped using the ‘lack of a pre-season’ excuse, don’t you think? That one’s wearing very thin as we head into the November fixtures!

It’s incredible that 17% say they would vote Tory, seemingly without any memory or knowledge of the disastrous consequences of Tory rule from ‘79-‘97 and ‘10-‘24. Simply mind boggling.

Agreed. Sadly, some trading will be inevitable though and if the Isak saga’s anything to go by, it will be emotional. Don’t think we’ll be seeing him at the World Cup finals though! 😂

Definitely not ideal, but let’s celebrate these days when we have players pulling the strings in the Italian and Brazilian midfields. Stark contrast to when we maybe had one or two NUFC players representing Scotland or Northern Ireland. The World Cup should be a good watch next summer!

Coaching stability and continuity is one of the keys to long term success (Busby, Shankly/Paisley, Wenger, Guardiola etc.) It also helps if the coach/manager is premium quality, which Howe clearly is based on where we are now (in the Champions League with a trophy in the cabinet) #NUFC
