It started out as a geometric collage, but I didn't like it. I cut it up and and glued it together again. Still hated it. Cut it into a circle to try and salvage it and this is what I ended up with. 🤪

A selection of small, colourful, porcelain coral sculptures. One is resting on an outstretched hand, to show the scale-it just about covers the fingers. There are spirals, fans, spikes, craters, anemones, waves and brain coral. There are a few areas left white, but there’s a multitude of bright colours…Orange, purple, pink, emerald, chartreuse, turquoise, deep purple and red. A visual carnival!

Needed a mental break, so this is just a little something I whipped up yesterday. Tested out my new daring foot, and used part of my 10¢ bag of yarn clippings I found at The ReUse Market on Friday. 🙂 Over thirty mixed media postcards for a postcard exchange group I'm in. 😁

We've got a little over 2 weeks until the SubClub closes.
This has been the slowest year for subscribers since I first started it. And that makes a lot of sense given everything that's happening around us.
It's a strain on our year too. This is our call for help.

On Tues. & Thurs. I teach a printmaking class at school & it's what is keeping me sane during the ongoing chaos. These are some wee prints I made last year while trying out some new working methods. It's clear they aren't perfect, but I think that's one of the lovely things about them. #printmaking

A large crowd of people and two automobiles trying to break through a retaining wall seperating them from animals (elephants, bears, penguins, etc.) on the other side. The animals are desperately pushing back against the wall trying to keep the invaders out. brouhaha and the big topsy-turvy. I worked with a colleague on this project. Definately my aesthetic as opposed to hers, but we had fun. It's been up for 6 months and will be coming down in a week. The big guy is Bob and I can't wait to have him home. :) #printmaking #mixedmedia #art #installation
