I had to take refuge in a #Starbucks and for some gorram reason they are playing the most "American" music ever. I'm in Mexico.
Did the corporation send a mail ordering them to play such music? What's next? Fly the flag? Place a Trump effigy? A Kirk memorial?

@esetofficial.bsky.social is there anybody out there? I'm getting an error on the windows client about having access to live grid. It suggests I allow it access to ports but the client is supposed to be my firewall. So, the windows client suddenly decided to not allow itself access to your servers?

Saw this on a post about people getting fired for saying the truth about what a horrible human being a recently deceased POS was.
Someone pointed out that this was true unless you are a right winger, politician, fascist, billionaire or all of those.

Finishing my summer holiday TV binging and got recommended #Ballard because I watched Bosch.
Went by pretty quickly, some predictable twists for someone used to narrative constructs and Bosch in general. Enjoyable, will look forward to a second season.

On the same subject #Microsoft will rather waste my time for hours on end with cryptic error messages, "too many requests" and even lost connection just because I won't use authenticator or outlook to authenticate.

In today's chapter of "I hate how tech companies do things": #Asus decided to make their configuration app, required to set some things in their laptops, #microsoft store only. The problem? Is not currently available in it. And I have a couple of freshly formatted laptops that badly need it.

Sat down yesterday to watch #TheBear and had to freeze frame and chuckle at the coincidence between the shows first scene and my snack of choice. Dunno if I should take as an omen or some such thing. Anywho, great season. That crazy family episide had me filled with dread and turned out OK
