Mostly typing.
Delighted to find The Final Cut’s lesser-known companion album also got covered by Kill Everyone. Faithful and thorough, with well-researched samples, chugging, and (mostly Scottish) jump-scare Cookie Monster vocals.

Roger Waters’ finest solo album gets covered - largely straight, but with bonus bits from bootlegs, chugging, and some jump-scare Cookie Monster vocals.

Latest addition to the future landfill/physical media collection. That’s the rest of the day sorted.

Four seasons into the Columbo box-set and this piece of VAM appears. Some shows get a Better Call Saul, others end up with Torchwood.

The Power Pack Orchestra (for it is they) aren’t in the same league as Geoff Love, which explains why the postage was four times more than the LP cost. I used to have this on cassette, a long, long time ago.

Columbo’s early career sees him encountering a veritable constellation of stars. Most of them guilty as sin.

Currently working through Complicit by Peter Oborne and found some parts address points also raised in Molch-R’s I Am The Law: How Judge Dredd Predicted Our Future.

I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about and we’ll all be fine.

Ah, Marvel UK and Alan Moore in the early 80s. It truly *was* a different time.

(Fairly sure some of the supporting cast cropped up as The Family of Blood in Doctor Who decades later.)

Art by David Lloyd and Adolfo Buylla.

Finishing off my run of ‘Previously on It’s The End’ themed literature with Peter Oborne’s Complicit.

The Fraud, Paul Holden (2025).

Dense and damning. The dead-eyed clique of right-wing soul-vacuums fronting the Nu New Labour project seem to have only one actual policy they aren’t lobbied/paid to believe in: “fuck the peasants and livestock”.

Hopefully, this book’ll give karma a nudge…

Anyone interested in a “Previously on It’s The End” could do worse than diving into Darryl Cunningham’s excellent books on the subject. (While there’s still time, that is.)

Saw this in Moon Knight #24 back in 1982 (or thereabouts). Can’t think what reminded me of it today.

Here’s hoping that this involves some ghastly career politicians with blood on their hands actually getting banged up, rather than skipping away, clutching their fortunes, into consultancy and/or podcasting.

Currently on a nostalgic and chronological trawl through Columbo. 70s TV was a very different beast, with everything being shot through a nicotine-stained filter (and the film crew seeming to appear in shot almost as often as Peter Falk does).
