Trump calls for an end to Temporary Protected Status for Somali people in Minnesota.
Unclear how many people that is. It was once around 200, but in 2021 the designation expanded and at the time local advocates said it could be more than 1,000.

With 67% reporting, St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter doesn’t have a majority, with 41% of the vote. This may be heading to round two of ranked-choice voting as well.

Company volunteer outing is at Feed My Starving Children. All the non-Minnesotans are baffled that this place is the quintessential first volunteer experience for kids in this state that I think all of us had. Personally, I went to at least three birthday parties here.

A truly miraculous update from the family of Sophia Forchas. She is the last remaining child from the Annunication shooting who is still hospitalized. Sophia is being transferred to inpatient rehab this week!

This week Annunciation students went back to school. We spoke to @atrupar.com about his families experience. From survivors guilt to his children asking about the "bad guy," there is nothing normal about this. Grateful for his time and vulnerability.
