I don't particularly want to be accepted but at least to be "respected" because many people have fun making fun of those who don't have a fursuit. In France, at certain conventions, you are extremely judged if you go to a furry convention without a fursuit.

So basically yes you need one to be "accepted" in the total fandom. I find it ridiculous especially the prices. I've been a furry since 2015 and before it cost a maximum of 1200eu today it's 4k or more.......
