"Yeah, I'd like that."

Yoru presents a tray of a dozen vanilla cupcakes with pink frosting to Laura.

"Happy birthday!"

"Oh yeah?"

--That being said, I still have a hard time letting this go. I'm too attached to my characters to let go.

--myself motivated to keep up on it. It sucks because I have new ideas I want to apply, but if this doesn't feel rewarding to do anymore, then what's the point? I've been at this for over a decade at this point and have nothing to show for it. This isn't fun anymore.--

I have a couple other ideas to go with, but they're a bit far out and I need time to iron out the details.

"Okay... I'll try." Yoru nods, closing her eyes and giving herself a moment to gather her thoughts.

"I-I do... But I'm not sure if it'll help," the reaper's voice was usually weak and shaky.

"I... guess so," she shrugs with a sigh.

"I don't know..."

Yoru nods and makes space for Laura to sit beside her.
