Chuuya has wildly captured his interest.

Chuuya held his hand out for Dazai to use to pick himself up, and he

mind cutting the redhead off there, and save him any further embarrassment. “I don’t have any of those.”

The boy savior was effectively cut off, truly at a loss for words. Then, something akin to pity welled up in his eyes as he looked down at Dazai. /Dazai Osamu did not need pity./

Now? He doesn’t. So Dazai simply doesn’t care.

“What is there to live for?” Dazai asked instead. “If you’re so knowledgeable.”

”Family! Friends! Uh— after school clubs!” He tried, and he looked like he’s got more to say, but his expression told Dazai he’s rather at a loss for words.

He did not

answer. He both does and doesn’t simultaneously have a reason for attempting to do what he just did. It was truly a spur of the moment kind of thing.

Not that it’s the first time he’s ever thought about or tried something like that. It was just—- before he had a reason to walk away and go home.
