That was disconcerting after listening to The Wargame an hour earlier! But it’s also been disconcerting to see the reporting of the peace plan over the past week or so when, as you say, there isn’t really any middle ground between survival and destruction.

Exactly. FPTP has very unstable dynamics when there are multiple parties with similar levels of support. Then it’s all about who has the most efficient regional distribution of votes.

In the past FPTP has tended to entrench the status quo - but there’s nothing to say that can’t change.

That got my hopes up for a moment - but it’s most *Labour* voters that blame Brexit isn’t it, not most voters overall? Overall, 48% blame UK immigration policy, with Brexit at 37%.
