Last semester I built an interactive notebook for my introduction to microeconomics going to do the same with my 2nd year macroeconomics subject.

I also embedded a 3D visualisation of the Cobb Douglas model of production.

Here’s a link to poke around akst.io/vis/20250601...

I came up with a better graphic in the end but it seems the like earlier version of the article is being prioritised by cache. I guess that’s one more incentive to thoroughly proof read before publishing.

Just look up a few suburbs in the provider finder, export CSV & go through the list of providers, find them on Google maps. You may be surprised who offers NDIS & upset by what you see in reviews.

Or if you know anyone working in NDIS, I would just talk to them.

In October Randwick placed an interim heritage order on a few lots near the local hospital and around UNSW. It has since been revoked gazette.nsw.gov.au/gazette/2024...

With a solid upzoning you could house plenty of nurses, doctors, teachers, students and any downsizers.

What they are not telling you is 1️⃣ these sites have had the same building height limit for a century 2️⃣ You cannot rebuild these structures due to minimum room size standards.

The council continues to see these redevelopments take place and at no point thought "maybe we should rezone".

Why are there so many rules around where open a new pharmacy can open? This isn't a NSW thing btw, this is a federal government thing.

There isn't a ton of data on this, and the methods to measure this are questionable (as it doesn't really account of defacto couples)

But the data below is residents living in a dwelling by bedrooms in the dwelling. In some cases there are 4 cases of households with 6 people living in a 1 bedroom.

Currently anyone who cannot afford what’s on offer for themselves are often forced to live in much worse conditions than a poorly lit apartment.

If you go on flatmates, there are countless examples of ads for renting a shared room.

These people are the main beneficiaries of smaller apartments

I've spent the last few days working a parser for extracting land parcel IDs from free text in the valuer general data.

I've worked on this before, but now I'm dealing with a ton more data. I have a better idea of the grammar now, so I've been able to lock it down more.
