I am thrilled, once again, to be lawsuit free!

For the last year, I've been a named defendant in a lawsuit challenging the Rutgers caste report. The judge threw it out of NJ court this week, no leave to amend.

It's a win for civil rights, academic freedom, and the anti-caste movement.

Full solidarity with Savera coalition member @sikhcoalition.bsky.social. The Sangh's hypocrisy is striking: they insist (accurately) that Hindu Americans come from diverse backgrounds beyond India, but demand that other categories (Bengali, Sikh, Punjabi American) be subsumed into "one identity."
This week, @hinduamerican.org's Regional Director in CA attended a Fremont school district board meeting.

While criticizing the district’s ethnic studies curriculum, she claimed that the terms “Bengali American, Sikh American, and Punjabi American” all “represent one identity.”
