Your mismatched talents aren't a bug. They're the entire point.
I call this expansiveness: when u stop compartmentalizing & start combining. Not ego-big. Human-big. These sides don’t add up. They multiply. What talents are u keeping separate because they don't seem "professional"?

You're not a collection of parts.Your brain is a murmuration—everything affecting everything else.No compartments.Just emergence.Yet we file people into boxes. When you categorize people, you don't see them. What if you saw people as murmurations instead of machines? Fewer than 1/2 of high school seniors have dated. In the 80s? It was 85%. While we debate how AI will reshape society there's a diff crisis unfolding right now. My latest Human Code piece explores this & how the deep engagement that connects us to others is the that which connects us to ourselves.

The AI creativity debate misses the point: it's not just steps, it's the emotional core.
We need that exhilaration—that feeling when a truly new idea slams into you.
The real challenge isn't can AI create, but will we design tools that respect & facilitate that deep emotional experience?

In our latest *Anthro-AI Series* conversation, anthropologist, Tom Maschio, & I explored a key rhythm for working with AI: Fast & Slow.

➡️ FAST for the data.
⬅️ SLOW for the deep human insight.
AI’s “limitations” aren’t flaws—they’re signals to pause, think, and interpret.
October 16, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Is your AI analysis too. comfortable? As an anthropologist, the true insight is rarely found in the consensus. It's in the outlier.
AI is brilliant at giving us the centrist answer. But if u stop there, ur missing the most profound interpretations. Go beyond the avg. That's where innovation lives.

Excited to team up with @jamesslezak, Founder & CEO of @swayable, at #AdvertisingWeekNY! 🎤✨

We’ll be live on the Tech Stage Monday, Oct 6 at 11:40 AM—diving into AI + human creativity: how tech can amplify (not replace) the magic of human.

“Never, ever underestimate the power of humor to really connect” — one of the first principles I ever learned in advertising. And I hold this to be true no matter our form of communication! Thank you @strategist_revival for bringing me back to my early days in the biz!

In our ongoing #AnthroAI series, anthropologist, Tom Maschio, & I explore the possibility that AI might not be an omniscient overlord, but rather a creative ritual. AI can be seen as a liminal space—that powerful in-between where old patterns dissolve & brand-new possibilities emerge

till buzzing from the NYFW show by @nabysvielman Vielman ✨🔥 The looks were bold, the crowd was electric, and the whole night was peak New York energy. Loved running into old friends and making new ones — fashion week magic at its best. 🖤

Bro podcasts might just hold the key to understanding modern masculinity. Not because of the noise — but because of the search. If you’re a creator or marketer trying to reach guys, this matters. A lot. Get more from anthropologist, Tom Maschio’s & my piece in @thedrummag bit.ly/4fV4ofg #creators

In a world that feels more virtual than ever, what we’re craving most is the opposite. That’s why wrestling is exploding. It’s raw. Physical. Bodies become stories. Audiences don’t just watch — they feel. My piece w/Tom Maschio in @TheDrum:https://bit.ly/3HtssJv

Everyone’s talking about “accessibility” in AI like it’s just about making it easier to understand. But u can’t understand AI unless you can afford to play w/ it. U get a tiny free taste, just enough to get you hooked. Then: 🚫 “u don’t have enough credits.” “Upgrade to continue”
August 14, 2025 at 3:31 PM
The "Anthro-AI" series is back! 🤖✨ In our 2nd chat, Tom Maschio sees a major hole: AI treats anthropology like a "natural science experiment," watching from a distance. But anthropology is about living w/ people & co-creating understanding. You can't capture that with just data

Ever wonder what an anthropologist to the biz starts do? Listen to Dr. Tom Maschio, explains in the video below, namely: "business is a form of culture." His work as a cultural anthropologist helps us interpret "consumer desires" and "business practices" to truly understand the market

It’s not about choosing btwn grit & glam—it’s about embracing both.
Female athletes are showing up on red carpets embodying a new kind of power—1 that fuses strength, femininity, & physicality.
I co-wrote a piece wi/ Tom Maschio, for @thedrummag exploring this aesthetic
