Does it actually mean that 'cos the districts are so gerrymandered a zombie or the devil itself will be voted in by the MAGA and the evangelical people? That they will not vote for a decent Democrat contesting for the seat? Is that not the identity politics Bill Maher keep ranting about the Dems?

The fact that they don't fear that the rest of America will hold them accountable for their extreme behavior or that they could break the laws, breach the constitution, break the norms and rules of social contract binding the whole of America and not held to account but pardoned is a sad reality.

The fact that they still voted for MAGA +4 is not a good sign for America. For America to stop the Trump madness, the deep south will need to vote for truth and goodness over cruelty and meanness. Even deep red districts should vote Dems, else it is taken they love the their malevolent naked king.

Garland's DOJ, Mitch, the Senate, the House, Judges, SCOTUS all skirted around the bull in the China shop and failed to uphold and enforce the laws and rules America was built on. The damage Trump has done to the America psyche is profound and could take two generations to restore America.

How is the US military and C Guard and N Guard members different from a third world dictator's national personal army? The military of dictators carry our illegal orders to kill opponents at the instance of the president. The US is different 'cos of the morality and legality of such orders.

A precedent has been set. No other president will be held accountable when they try to rig an election, incite a mob, select fraudulent electors to stay in power, when they are accused of stealing state secrets, Everything Trump was accused of and not tried or dismissed is a precedent.

So why was it necessary to put such a timeline for the release of the files? The files were already in place, there was no new information needed before the release. This was a very bad mistake. The max timeline should have been 7 days. Momentum can be lost.

Again, we later knew that at the material time Comey made the nothing bugger email announcement, the Trump campaign was also under investigation for suspicious collusion with Russia. Why was there no announcement of investigation into the Trump campaign? Comey did Hillary and America bad.

He should not have announced it at all since it was already possibly under the 60 days rule before the election. Besides, he was goaded into the hasty announcement be the GOP who was holding onto any straw to bring Hilary down. Hilary was winning and announcement dampened the zeal to vote for her.

Will that be enough? Congressional hearings? To what end? Will that be the only form of accountability? Until some of Trump's goons go to prison for a long time like the AG under Nixon, accountability will not be complete.
