In the last week I've outlined a children's picture book, designed a board game, and started a new illustration, all as a means of mental escape. 😓

Four years ago, the idea that would become my first novel was just a bunch of concept sketches for a short comic I pretty much gave up on. I *never* thought I'd make it so far as writing 100K words and planning a trilogy.

How did your current project start its life? I'd love to hear the story! 🕯️

Officially sent out my first novel's manuscript to my small group of alpha readers! After years of tinkering with and worrying over it, it feels so strange to share the finished work with others.
