To an extent, but as far as requiring elections run at certain points in time we most certainly do.

Whistle blew and the dude took 2 more steps and threw him to the ground. Every single QB in NFL gets this called!! It’s almost the definition of roughing the passer.

How is it not capitalism to regulate capitalism? I’m really trying to understand your point.

@mcuban.bsky.social it is not necessarily even about doing different things with their money. It’s preventing people like you (meaning billionaires) having even more power and influence than you already do. The power and influence in so few hands has shown to be absolutely terrifying.

Any examples of these amazing CEOs that built multibillion dollar companies by themselves?

Earning success and financial freedom is great. That can be had with a few million (for many even less). Compensation for these fools now allows them to buy politicians, governments, countries. No single person should have that much money.

Minimum wage is a limit to how low we can pay someone. Why is that ok but an upper limit is not? There are literally 0 CEOs who built their company from the ground up. At least not by themselves.

To follow up why do you believe in limits on the lowest end but not the highest end?

you didn’t argue with any specific logic why it would be unreasonable so go ahead and elaborate why a system like that would be problematic?

Just as we have minimum we should also have maximum incomes as well. The is a finite resource we are all battling for so constraining the maximum amount 1 person can take/hold makes sense in every other facet…why not money?

The CEOs will be ok, I promise. They don’t need you looking out for them anymore.
