Not at all! Platinum is the brand, Carbon Black is the ink name. TWSBI is the pen brand, ECO is the model. The nib size on his pen is a Fine if that helps. I own an ECO T and the nib on mine is Broad.

Definitely recommend the Platinum Carbon Black ink for sketching, it's waterproof. I bought my husband a TWSBI Eco for drawing and he uses it all the time for inking and sketches.
