Why should Republicans pass a budget? Trump sees no reason to comply with any budget passed by Congress. He’ll bail out dictators in Argentina and fire Federal workers doing tasks authorized by Congress.

I am all for FDR and everything he did for this country. But Medicare came into existence in 1965, long after his time.
Facts used to matter until Trump came along. Hopefully, the value of facts can be restored along with value that FDR had for working people.

They wouldn’t like the example set by minority parties elsewhere because those parties have set aside their opportunity for grift in order to achieve policy goals. MAGA has no policy goals other than grift, grievance, race/sex/gay/ethnic disempowerment and retribution.
