I would argue that it’s intentional because the plot point in question is also an Ukraine/Russia analogue. It says a lot to me that Ukraine and Russia and Palestine and Israel are being compared with the same analogue. It’s asking the viewer to question why don’t we think of these the same.

I feel it’s related to people becoming brands. Being an influencer means you gotta market a different micro trend to your audience each week.
