Today, you can’t argue with anyone and change their mind about cannabis. It doesn’t matter that it is a lie than put innocent people in prison. A WM said it 🤷🏾‍♀️ so it’s the law of the land.

In his journal he wrote that he witness Africans signing, dancing, acting dumb and lazy smoking this plant. This opinion centuries later was used in articles as fact. Made laws from it

Classism I’m sure plays a part. I know that people around the world have been convinced whiteness if better aka colorism. People might not know why they feel that way but I’ve seen a reluctancy to challenge WM and their actions in Kenya where my family is from. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think it can be unlearned but you have to challenge all your “first thoughts” about any subject because it has been shaped strategically by our society.

In my experience, I notice WM are always given the benefit of the doubt. When they are young and mischievous, schools, parents, authorities are more lenient than they are to other groups. WM have gone through life with an invisible privilege that is very obvious from an outside perspective IMO
