‘Popular with friends’ is a really useful feature though, because it gives you a degree of evidence that 90% of what others are liking is just (way more than I’m comfortable posting with a public account) nsfw stuff + a bit of commentary, and it’s a timesink to post much else.
The one thing that Threads did manage to crack for several months was managing to surface fandoms to a really nice extent. It’s aggregated news or pictures of yourself/others on here, and that’s your lot. Back to Insta Stories it is.
I’m still finding it pretty dead on here ngl, other than a ‘certain’ type of content, that I rarely even find interesting 🥴

The outsourcing policy of these institutions has been an unmitigated failure, coming from someone who used to work for one of them.
From security to hospitality, they need to consider bringing as much as possible back in-house, if for no other reason than reputation management.

I don’t buy this framing tbh, given it’s Filoni’s baby and generally fans want more Dawson screentime.
What I could believe though is that every TV project begins to be curtailed to suit the plot and timing of the Avengers-style film they have planned (an idea I’m really lukewarm on, icl).

While I'm to the Left of Starmer's current plans, his focus on reducing big opportunities for party factionalism has overall benefits that we're yet to fully experience/understand. As an electorate we're really primed to expect levels of Cabinet melodrama that may not actually be coming.

Every government since 2010 has had clear potential to collapse. This one doesn't and, after 14 years of drama, people haven't quite got their heads around that yet.

Some of the most perfectly crafted acting, writing, visuals, and music in the franchise. It just built and built.

I fear this anthology has been the only Star Wars thing I’ve liked with zero complaints since, and for some time before, ‘Andor’. It just hits the right note, whether the episodes are anime or Aardman.
