Another screening event is coming on 15th June, this time in Tokyo.

The talk after the screening will revolve around decolonial thought, magic realism, and basically how to resist to the world imposed to us at the moment through practices and ideas represented in Kanarta: Alive in Dreams.

Celebrating New Year in Salvador.

Back in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil. From this year I have been spending time here in order to explore possession cult, corporality and forms of relationship with natural elements through Candomblé, capoeira and much more. I aim to create artworks using video, photography, sound and text.

Yesterday in Tokyo I organised screenings of the trenchant documentary shot in Palestine “5 broken cameras”. I invited photojournalist Rei Shiva and artist KOM_I for a talk session. I believe it’s one of the most important films to screen all over the world now, even though it’s made 13 years ago.
