Exactly - but 1st step in the pipeline is target discovery. Then comes making & validating actual tests for specific use cases. Fx, different requirement for surveillance in risk zones (eg climate change) versus 1st line screening in combination with 2nd line current infection tool for elimination

We need tool development for surveillance and intelligent resource-use. Antibody detection will fill a gap in travel medicine, near- and post elimination settings and (re-)emerging transmission zones in ONE and GLOBAL health contexts 🧪🪱 #BeatNTDs. 🙌 to all the amazing collaborators on this project
